PALEO BBQ CHICKEN

TOTAL TIME – 85 minutes

INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE

    • Large chicken – 3-4 pounds (cut into 8 pieces For the BBQ Sauce)
    • Tomato paste – 1 cup
    • Ketchup – ½ cup
    • Maple syrup – 2 teaspoons 
    • Apple cider vinegar – 2 tablespoons
    • Honey – 2 tablespoons 
    • Worcestershire sauce – 4 teaspoons
    • Dijon mustard Sea salt – 2 teaspoons 
    • Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
    • Onion powder – 1 teaspoon 
    • Liquid smoke – 1 teaspoon 
    • Hot Sauce – 1 teaspoon 

TIME TO COOK - PALEO BBQ CHICKEN

    • Step 1 – Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F) (Keep oven rack in the middle position)
    • Step 2 – Take a saucepan and put all the sauce ingredients. 
    • Step 3 – Heat the pan to high heat for 3 minutes.
    • Step 4 – Reduce the heat and set aside the pan.
    • Step 5 – Grease a baking dish with oil
    • Step 6 – Place the chicken on the baking dish.
    • Step 7 – Bake the chicken for 30 minutes.
    • Step 8 – Remove the chicken from the oven.
    • Step 9 – Brush the chicken with the sauce.
    • Step 10 – Bake the chicken again for about 20 minutes.
    • Step 11 – Remove chicken pieces from the oven and brush them with the BBQ sauce.
    • Step 12 – Roast the chicken for another 10 minutes.
    • Step 13 – Repeat this process until the skin of the chicken turns brown.
