FRIED POLENTA

PREP TIME – 4 minutes 

COOK TIME – 7 minutes

TOTAL TIME – 11 minutes

INGREDIENTS FOR THIS RECIPE

    • Polenta – 1 (16-oz) package 
    • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
    • Vegan parmesan cheese – 1/ 4 cups (20g)
    • Dried Italian herbs (basil + oregano) – 1 Tablespoon

TIME TO COOK - FRIED POLENTA

    • Step 1 – Line a baking sheet in the oven
    • Step 2 –  Preheat the oven to 425 F (218 C)
    • Step 3 – Get your precooked Polenta

If you have not cooked Polenta yet, click here to cook Polenta

    • Step 4 – Cut your polenta into shapes you like. (I prefer rectangular shapes)

If the polenta is crumbling, keep it in a refrigerate for 15 minutes

    • Step 5 – Put these Polenta chips into a large mixing bowl.
    • Step 6 – Add olive oil, vegan parmesan, dried herbs and gently toss with clean hands to mix them evenly.
    • Step 7 – Space fries evenly on the parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in your preheated oven for 15 minutes.
    • Step 8 – Change the upside down and bake for another 15 minutes
    • then enjoy with a side of marinara sauce or pesto
